Mary Jo Legare reminds me a lot of the peonies that would grow in my grandma's flower beds. I used to love picking them as a little girl. Even now, the smell of peonies brings me right back to my grandma's flower beds. Mary Jo Legare is a more traditional peony. She's a traditional red, but while it matures, turns into a more light red and pink. Due to its colour changing nature, and it's strong productivity, it's earned a name for itself with collectors.
